FOUR were appointed to evolve the Christmas creative platform for Cherry Lane Garden Centres, building on previous seasonal success while giving the brand a distinctive, ownable and impactful festive idea.
The result was Santa Stops Here – a fully integrated Christmas campaign positioning Cherry Lane as a must-visit festive destination, not just a retail environment. Rather than focusing solely on products, the campaign centred on experience, magic and the emotional pull of Christmas traditions.










What we did
We created Santa Stops Here, a bold idea positioning Cherry Lane as part of Santa’s own journey - if Santa stops here, then it must be worth the trip. Led by a warm, characterful TV ad, the campaign balanced charm with product focus. Rolled out across TV, social, OOH, radio and in-store, it delivered a seamless, immersive festive experience from awareness to visit.
The Challenge
Cherry Lane trades in a competitive garden centre market where Christmas is a critical trading period. While others default to price and predictable festive visuals, the ambition was to create a distinctive, long-lasting idea that drives regional footfall, elevates the experience beyond transactions, builds on momentum, and works seamlessly across TV, digital, in-store and local media - all rooted in community warmth.
Results
We delivered a distinctive, ownable Christmas platform that set Cherry Lane apart. It drove increased festive footfall, strong digital engagement and strengthened perception as a true Christmas destination. Built to scale and evolving each year, the campaign proves Cherry Lane can compete creatively with national brands while staying true to its warm, approachable character.
