Brand Guidelines

Ground & Co. is a premium own-brand coffee solution built for convenience retailers, offering great-tasting, competitively priced coffee (under £3) that rivals many of the bigger brands.

It goes beyond just selling coffee, and focuses on doing business responsibly. From recyclable cups to their “Grounds for Good” initiative that lets customers donate to local charities with every cup, it delivers hassle-free, ethical, high-quality coffee that puts retailers, customers, and communities first. It tastes good, and does good.

What we did

Our team was able to work closely with the client, their partners and compliance organisations to build a brand that communicated exactly what they wanted Ground & Co. to represent. The brand was then rolled out into brand guidelines, social assets and even till screens to advertise the brand. Additionally, we went to the launch on the Isle of Man to see the brand come to life in the local SPAR convenience stores. 

The Challenge

Ground & Co. needed to be fulfilled quickly to meet the demand of the holding company and pitch dates to get the coffee into stores. This meant a very quick turnaround from creating the brand to the fully recyclable cups and machine wraps. We overcame this by working closely with the client through ideation sessions and communicating frequently to ensure we were matching the time frame they needed. 

Results

From being installed in various SPAR and CO-OP locations, as well as supporting various charities through their ‘Grounds for Good’ initiative, Ground and Co. is becoming a coffee brand to be reckoned with. We continue to work closely with them to ensure we support them when needed, whether it be design, photography or PR.
